In order for AOL users to receive confirmation emails and Hotel registration codes during the Mountain Bear Madness registration process you will need to add two email addresses to your safe senders list.
Please add orders@vmbears.com and registration@mountainbearmadness.com to your safe senders list. Read the instructions from AOL below on how to do this. Thank you.
Information About How the AOL® Service Spam Filter Works
The AOL® Spam Filter works by only allowing e-mail from screen names found on your Buddy List®, address book, or screen names you have designated to send you mail.
AOL's Advanced Spam filtering works automatically to move junk e-mail and unwanted e-mail into your Spam folder. This process is simple, automatic, and personalized to how you use e-mail. When filtering is turned on, e-mail that is determined to be spam by AOL's advanced technology will be automatically delivered to your Spam folder.
Ensure Your Friends Never Get Blocked by the Spam Filter
To ensure that none of your friends get blocked by the Spam Filter, add all of your friends to your Address Book or to your Buddy List. Screen names that are listed in either of those locations will never be blocked by the Spam Filter.
Turn Off the Spam Filter
To turn off the spam filter:
1. Sign in to the AOL® service as you normally would.
2. Go to AOL Keyword: Mail Controls . This Keyword is only accessible through the AOL software.
3. Click the Controls for: drop-down menu to open it, choose the screen name for which you wish to disable the Spam Filter, then click it.
4. In the AOL's Advanced Spam Filters section, click the Off link, then click the Save button. Messages suspected as spam will be delivered to the mailbox of the screen name chosen.
